Window pictures--a crew showed up to help Mike Koenigsfeld of Stock Glass install the huge front window and the window in the door. Thank you for doing this for us Mike!!!
Julie Reese washed windows, and cleaned the store so we could begin putting things on the shelves. Kyle Rule helped Mary put up posters that tell the story of the store from 1903-to the present. More of Richard Wyborney, Charles City. He volunteered to do the brick work and put up the piers on the service bay canopy. Wonderful job! This original stove was donated back to us from Dean Walker in memory of Marge Shindelarr Walker. You can see part of this stove in a photo of Peter Koenigsfeld taken sometime in the 30's. This is the coke machine donated back to the store by Jerry "the Fonze" and Linda Ott. There are photos of Wayne and Anna Mae Stratton painting the back door and steps. Giving it a primer coat and it looks great! |
